Our Impact

One Life at a time.

Since the beginning, that has been the heartbeat behind Yada. We have chosen to not measure our impact by the number of women we serve, the number of jobs created, or the volume of any activity we do. If we were to measure, our first question would be: What markers would we even choose? What percent change would we call success? It is estimated that approximately 6.3 million people are in forced commercial sexual exploitation globally at any given time. In light of that, what number would ever be enough? Numbers can easily become nameless and lose their meaning over time. But a life? It always has value. We are reminded of this every time we sit across the table from a woman who has felt unseen, unloved and unknown for years. We see her. She is more than a number. She has value. She has a name. Our hope is that, through relationships and the love and support of the Yada community, she can build a new life.Changing one woman’s life can shape her children’s tomorrow and even more generations to follow.

That is Impact.

Seen.

Known.

Loved.

“I don’t know if any of you know who I used to be or where I was in life but I was one of those women being used and abused and controlled because I had an uncontrollable addiction. I gave up on life after losing all of my family and spent pretty much all of my adult years behind bars! Yada was a huge part of finding myself and my worth!! The owners name is Beth Bremer Williams and she’s amazing!!  I thought that people like her didn’t exist anymore after the life I had lived!! I know you don’t know what I looked like before.. well maybe some of you do, but I am so grateful for life now!! It is possible.”
